How to delete your Wochenmahl account, and what happens to your data.
Open Profile → My profile and tap “Delete account”. We send you an email with a confirmation link that is valid for 24 hours. As soon as you open it, your account is deleted. Beforehand, “Export my data” in the same place downloads a copy of your data.
Write to the address in the legal notice from your account’s email address and ask for deletion. We confirm your request and delete your account within one month at the latest.
Your account with name, email address and sign-in methods, your sessions and devices for notifications, your recipes with their photos, and everything else that is only yours – such as favourites, imports and settings. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the access at Apple.
If you share a household with others, what you use together – such as the plan, lists and pantry – stays for the other members, but without your name. If you are the last member, the household is deleted with everything in it. Copies of your published recipes that others saved to their own collection before stay with them.
Your data disappears from our database backups after 90 days at the latest, when the last backup that still contains it is deleted automatically. Until then we only use backups to restore service after an outage.
